Should you not be able to make payment on your account, you would need to inform us of this as soon as possible to discuss a suitable arrangement to prevent judgement taken against you. We require you to provide a new deduction date or make good on the outstanding amount.
A judgment is a court order awarded to the debt collector, it means that a court has ordered that you must pay your debt to a particular creditor (such as a bank or retailer).
If a judgment is entered against you, a debt collector will be able to affect a garnishment against your salary to collect an outstanding debt. A judgement will remain on your credit profile for 5 years or until rescinded and may prevent you from receiving further credit.
Once your account is paid in full, a delisting request will be submitted to the Credit Bureaus. Please note that updates can take up to 30 days to reflect on the credit bureau.
